About Me

My name is Francedid, the founder and teacher at Sí! Spanish with Fran.

Born in Armenia, Colombia, I have spent my life immersed in the Spanish language. This passion translated into a Bachelor Degree in Spanish and Literature, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching. I extended my education in Australia with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management.

For years I taught Spanish at schools and now my wish is to help others in Australia to communicate fluently in this amazing language.

My teaching style is unique because I try to provide an experience, not only classes. During my lessons, I will help you to develop the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in Spanish. I plan my classes in a meaningful, dynamic way, including interactive learning plan for kids. I also integrate education about the many wonderful aspects of Latino cultures, such as different traditions, history, foods and dance styles.

My hobbies outside of teaching include traveling, socializing with friends, cooking delicious Colombian food and gardening with my Husband!
